Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & IT Jitin Prasada inaugurated the STQC Lab Automation Portal — SATYA — marking a significant step toward digitizing quality certification services for India’s electronics and IT sector. The initiative was launched in the presence of MeitY Secretary S. Krishnan and senior officials from the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate and C-DAC.
The Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of electronic and IT products and services in the country. With the launch of SATYA, STQC’s services have been integrated into a single, user-friendly digital platform, benefiting citizens, industry, startups, MSMEs, and government departments.
The portal represents a major step in modernizing STQC’s service delivery through end-to-end digital processes. By leveraging technology, the initiative strengthens transparency, efficiency, and trust while ensuring that quality certification services are accessible to all stakeholders.
