FANUC India appoints Toshiyuki Suzuki as President & CEO

FANUC India has appointed Toshiyuki Suzuki as its new President and CEO, marking a significant leadership transition as the company sharpens its focus on expanding automation adoption across India.

The company plans to transform its regional offices into advanced Technology Development Centers, enabling manufacturers to test automation solutions through real-world proof-of-concept environments before deployment. 

Another key focus area is strengthening service infrastructure, particularly across Tier-2 and Tier-3 industrial clusters, ensuring faster response times and improved uptime for customers. 

Suzuki is also pushing for wider adoption of robotics and collaborative robots among small and medium enterprises, making automation more accessible and scalable. Additionally, the company aims to accelerate Industrial IoT integration to enhance shopfloor intelligence and productivity. 

This leadership shift reflects FANUC’s long-term commitment to India as a manufacturing hub. By combining technology access, service reach, and SME inclusion, the company is positioning itself as a key enabler in India’s next phase of industrial automation growth.
