Bluspring Acquires STEAG India

Bluspring Enterprises is acquiring 100% of STEAG Energy Services India for ₹1.8 billion through its subsidiary Bluspring New Horizon one.. The deal, expected to close within 60-90 days, adds significant operations and maintenance capabilities to Bluspring’s industrial services portfolio.

STEAG India manages nearly 7 GW of power generation assets and 2,200 tonnes per hour of process steam capacity, spanning conventional and renewable energy plants across India, Botswana, the Middle East, and select African markets. Founded in 2001, STEAG India generates annual revenues exceeding ₹600 crore with a workforce of roughly 2,000 professionals. The acquisition brings advanced digital capabilities in performance monitoring, predictive analytics, and diagnostics—technologies that complement Bluspring’s existing operations.

Post-completion, STEAG India becomes a wholly owned Bluspring subsidiary. Its two existing units—STEAG Energy Services Botswana and STEAG O&M Company, a joint venture with Hinduja Energy—convert to step-down subsidiaries. Bluspring currently services over 2,000 MW across its infrastructure portfolio. The addition of STEAG’s 7 GW managed capacity significantly expands market presence.
