Blackstone Leads $1.2 Billion Investment in India’s Neysa AI Platform

Private equity giant Blackstone has led a $1.2 billion capital raise for Neysa, a fast-growing AI acceleration cloud platform building sovereign compute infrastructure in India. The funding structure comprises up to $600 million in equity from Blackstone and co-investors — including Teachers’ Venture Growth, TVS Capital, 360 ONE Assets, and Nexus Venture Partners — alongside $600 million in debt financing.

Founded in 2023, Neysa designs and operates GPU-based AI infrastructure within India, enabling enterprises and institutions to train, fine-tune, and deploy AI workloads securely and cost-effectively. Its flagship platform, Velocis, covers AI infrastructure provisioning, generative AI performance optimisation, and AI security — providing an integrated layer for organisations looking to scale AI without building their own data centre capacity.

Blackstone in its global portfolio in AI infrastructure — which includes QTS, AirTrunk, CoreWeave, and Firmus — provides Neysa with strategic guidance from an investor with deep experience scaling data centre platforms across continents. The investment arrived alongside the India AI Impact Summit, reflecting growing global conviction that India is becoming a serious destination for AI compute infrastructure at scale.
