Antevia Networks and Benetel have formalized a strategic partnership following successful integration testing between Benetel’s outdoor O-RAN radio units and Antevia’s 5G SHIFT private network platform. The collaboration targets mission-critical outdoor connectivity deployments where simplicity, speed, and predictable performance determine project success.
The UK-based equipment vendor and Irish radio manufacturer completed validation work confirming that Benetel’s carrier-grade outdoor O-RUs integrate seamlessly with Antevia’s end-to-end platform. The combined solution addresses persistent obstacles holding back private 5G adoption: integration complexity, unclear vendor responsibilities across multi-vendor stacks, and inconsistent real-world coverage outcomes.
Deployment advantages include de-risked Open RAN implementations through proven testing, faster time-to-coverage via packaged approaches designed for repeatable field execution, predictable performance for mission-critical operations, lower integration burden through aligned roadmaps and support processes, simplified vendor management, and streamlined lifecycle operations from commissioning through ongoing performance monitoring.
Target environments include logistics hubs, utilities infrastructure, ports, transport networks, industrial sites, public venues, and smart-city deployments—locations where outdoor coverage requirements meet operational complexity and mission-critical reliability demands. These sectors often combine sensitive control systems with challenging physical conditions and power quality issues.
